Besides Manufacturing, our Group has set up a Reseach Institute of Magnetic Materials Mainly aims to study and develop the raw materials of magnets, and at the same time also to improve the products of magnetic materials. The material grades are to fully meet the high-level criteria of advanced countries (such as Japan, USA, etc.) in magnetic materials.

The institute director is Prof. Lin Yi, a famous expert on magnetic materials in China, who has made outstanding contributions and has been specially honored by the State Council. Under his guidance, now in the institute are working about 40 research students graduated from key universities all over the country.

The institute has advanced facilities and complete testing means. The main equipment and machinery include: multi-functional meters for permanent magnetic properties, vibrating magnetometers for samples, laser meters for particle size, big power magnetizers, magnetic moment meters, and FQY salt-fog corrosion testing box, as well as related element chemical analysis laboratory, etc. With strong ability for research and development, the institute has a leading position in domestic magnet-manufacturing industry.


	Our group of factories have a complete Quallity Control policy, we have our Quality Management Dept and ISO Office to monitor our products which over 100 staff. Equipped with technologically advanced machineries, SME has instituted a quality control system according to ISO9002 standards. Total quality control according to ISO9002 criterion is strictly enforced in the whole production flow. Primary test, pre-test and final test are conducted for each product to ensure that it meets the required quality standard. For each process, a test is also conducted. Property testing is then carried out with the aid of computers.
